LONDON OVERGROUND IS FINALLY GOING 24 HOURS ON WEEKENDS

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has revealed exciting news for London party people: the city's underground trains will run round-the-clock on Fridays and Saturdays between New Cross Gate and Dalston Junction.

In 2018, the service will expand into Highbury and Islington, and is sure to be a real boon for the city's nightclubs.

This comes in addition to Night Tube services across London, which have made for 6.5 million journeys since being implemented.

Of the announcement, Mayor Sadiq Khan says, "Our Night Tube services have been a real success right across the capital, so I'm delighted to announce that we'll be bringing the Night Overground to the East London line later this year. It will provide huge benefits to Londoners and visitors to our city, helping those working hard through the night and all those out enjoying everything London has to offer, as well as creating jobs and boosting our economy."
