When did you begin DJ'ing and what made you start?

I started DJing in 2004. And my influence to start was the fact that I owned a record store as I was always into music, but while working there I met so many DJ's and like minded people I guess this is what inspired me.

What would you say influenced you towards House music?

From my early teens, I fell in love with dance music. Jungle to be exact, then I progressed on to what is now called old skool garage. But after visiting my brother who lived in Spain in the early 2000's, I was introduced to House Music and was immediately drawn to this new sound. The rest as they say, is history, I found my true home.

Of the many genres of House, which are your favourite?

I started off with a love for Deep Latin house as this is what I was first introduced to. Then progressed on to Deep, Soulful and Afro house with a touch of Broken beats.

These days I'm more into Deep, Tech house with a bit of Nu-disco.

Which artists, producers and tracks stand out for you, both now and from the past?

In the early days I was into producers such as - Afro Medusa, MAW, Terry Hunter, Glen Underground, Chez Damier, Mr V, Todd Terry, Scott Wozniac, Master Kev, Mike Delgado, DJ Gregory, Jovonn, Franck Roger, Black Coffee, Fish go deep, Jazztronik, Karizma, Ear 'dis to name a few.

A few tracks that stood out for me in no particular order were - Block Party, Attend 1, Pasilda, Cure and the cause, Walking on ice, Hail Mary, Darqness, Phunk Carnival, Can't get no sleep, Me myself & I, Even though, Turn me on. Plus many many more.

Nowadays I'm more into producers such as - NAC, Dale Howard, Walker & Royce, Hot Since 82, A Lister, Dexter Kane, Cozzy D, Alex Arnout, Dyed Sounderom, Laura Jones, Loquace, Ittetsu, Jun Akimoto, Enzo Siragusa, Seb Zito, East End Dubs, Chris Lattner to name a few.

Name some highlights or a profound moment in your time as a DJ?

The biggest highlight of my DJ career has got to be my back 2 back set at Project Minimal with the legendary Hot Since 82.

Have you done any production? If not, is it something you aim to do?

I have started my hand at some production. And have some tunes up on my soundcloud page.

Going on from that, what are your musical plans for the future?

I plan to keep going with my production and develop my own sound. I also plan on pushing my promotion Project Minimal to next level and starting our own record label in the near future.
